‘Parting’ tells the story of two young Afghans in love, Nabi and Fereshteh. Fereshteh leaves the country with her parents to seek refuge in Iran and Nabi is to seek a better life for his love. The love story fluctuates between reaching and separation.

A joint production of Iran and Afghanistan, the film has also gone on screen at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea in October 2016 as well as the 21st edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala in India.

It was introduced as the representative of Afghanistan to the 89th edition of the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

‘Overruled’ depicts the life of some young Afghans who seek refuge in Iran after the trembling time of war in Afghanistan.

The boys have started working in Iran, but working hard, they have achieved considerable accomplishments.

The film has so far taken part at a number of international film festivals, including Low Cost Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain, and White Nights Film Festival in Russia.

This edition of the event was held on September 9 and 10 in the Swedish city of Stockholm.
